Discusses legal requirements for and issues concerning dual citizenship. Examines problems that could lead to expatriation of U.S. citizens, and potential concerns of conflicting obligations to both countries. Reviews laws of selected countries where many U.S. citizens may be eligible for dual citizenship, and highlights legislative activity in the 105th Congress.
