Reviews UN weapons inspections in Iraq following the 1991 Gulf War, protocol and timeline for inspection regime mandated by Nov. 8, 2002 UN Security Council resolution 1441, challenges to weapons inspections process, significant milestones in the 2002-2003 inspection process, including evaluation of Iraq weapons programs declaration and inspection regime reports to UN Security Council, U.S. assistance to inspection process, and Congressional role in sustaining weapons inspections and authorization for use of military force.
