Examines Congressional power to regulate interstate and foreign commerce under the so-called commerce clause of the Constitution and recent cases before the Supreme Court that may limit the breadth of the commerce clause. Discusses commerce clause drafting and ratification, related case law, categories of commerce clause jurisprudence, including channels of commerce, instrumentalities of interstate commerce, and impact on interstate commerce. Reviews impact of select cases on interstate commerce, including Wickard v Filburn, United States v. Lopez, United States v. Morrison, and Gonzales v. Raich.
