- Summarizes relevant provisions contained in legislation pending before the 109th Congress to establish personal reemployment accounts (PRAs) for unemployed workers, which provide funds for expenses involved in finding a new job and provide a bonus to the account holder equal to the balance in PRAs when they obtain a new job. Compares the common design elements of the various State bonus programs with the design of proposed bonus demonstration programs, and reviews of the results of selected State bonus experiments.
