- George Mauner was a distinguished professor emeritus of art history and director of the Institute for the Arts and Humanities at Penn State. This collection of George Mauner's collected sheet music contains approximately 4,000 pieces of American popular sheet music dated between 1841-1990 (bulk 1915-1945), including compositions by Tin Pan Alley composers, Broadway composers, Black composers, and women composers.
