Contains transcript of Committee markup session continuation on H.R. 6721, the Federal Coal Leasing Amendments Act of 1975, to amend the Mineral Leasing Act of 1920, to require that coal leases be issued by competitive bidding; terminate issuance of prospecting permits and exploration licenses after approval of an exploration plan; limit lease terms to ten years; and allow States greater discretion in spending their Federal coal leasing revenues.
