Conference committee meeting to resolve differences between S. 1585 and H.R. 8059, the Protection of Children Against Sexual Exploitation Act of 1977, to establish Federal criminal penalties for the pornographic depiction of minors in visual media; include male youths under Mann Act prohibition on interstate transport of juveniles for prostitution; and increase penalties for interstate traffic in obscene materials depicting children. Conference committee report was approved.
