1. Bhopal: 20 years after one of the worst industrial disasters, the gas leak at the Union Carbide India pesticide plant - the victims are still waiting for justice. 2. Chernobyl: A nuclear reactor exploded at the Chornobyl power plant in Ukraine spewing 5 tons of radioactive nuclear waste into the atmosphere. In spite of the extreme nature of the accident, no alarm was sounded. 3. Alaska: The Exxon Valdez oil tanker caused a major oil spill in the Gulf of Alaska in 1989 and 16 years later the Cordova fishermen are still engaged in a struggle with one of the world's most profitable oil companies.
