- Summary:
- Phenomenological approaches to describe the spin structure functions an spin sum rules for proton and neutrons at low momentum transfer Q² and energy transfer ν, i.e. in the region of the nucleon resonances are discussed. Experiments to measure A₁{sup p}, A₂{sup p} and N₁ⁿ structure functions at CEBAF in a Q² range from 0.15 to 2.0 GeV², and a W range from threshold to 2.2 GeV are presented.
