- Summary
- Analyses for organic materials in aqueous dip and variable depth samples and a floating sample taken from Pump Tank 3F in December 1999 have been completed. The results indicate that the concentration of organic materials is extremely low in all samples. A small amount of amount of tri-n-butyl phosphate (TBP - 1.3 mg/L) was found in the dip sample taken from Pump Tank 3F. A somewhat larger amount of TBP (230 mg/L) along with some normal paraffin hydrocarbons (NPH - 77 mg/L) were found in the variable depth sample from the pump tank. No other detectable volatile or semivolatile organics were found. Small amounts of three different organosilicon compounds were found on the floating sample solid phase extraction (SPE) disk as well as a trace of xylenes (3 mg/disk) and a trace of ammonia (120 mg/disk). No other volatile or semivolatile organic compound was detected.
