Summary
The authors present a preliminary measurement of the branching fraction and CP-violating parameters S and C for the decay B° → ωK{sub S}°. The data sample corresponds to 232 x 10⁶ B{bar B} pairs produced from e⁺e⁻ annihilation at the Υ(4S) resonance. They measure Β(B° → ωK°) = (5.9 ± 1.0 ± 0.4) x 10⁻⁶, S = 0.50{sub -0.38}{sup +0.34} ± 0.02 and C = -0.56{sub -0.27}{sup +0.29} ± 0.03.
