- We present preliminary results for the measurement of the branching fraction of the decay B{sup ±} → χ{sub c0} K{sup ±} from a sample of 75 million B{bar B} pairs collected by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory at SLAC. The χ{sub c0} meson is reconstructed through its two-body decays to π⁺π⁻ and K⁺K⁻. We measure Β(B{sup ±} → χ{sub c0} K{sup ±}) x Β(χ{sub c0} → K⁺K⁻) = 1.48 ± 0.44(stat) ± 0.17(syst) x 10⁻⁶. Using the known values for the χ{sub c0} decays branching fractions, we combined these results to obtain Β(B{sup ±} → χ{sub c0} K{sup ±}) = (2.4 ± 0.7) x 10⁻⁴.
