The BigBite spectrometer under construction in Hall A will serve as a new tool for correlation studies. Nucleon correlation experiments with luminosities up to 1 x 10³⁸ cm⁻²/s will be possible when the proton threshold momentum is about 200 MeV/c. Detailed MC calculations and experimental tests have demonstrated that at such a luminosity the positive particle rate will be about 10 MHz in BigBite's solid angle of 70 msr at 90{sup o} relative to the beam direction.
