Summary
Shows how, after thirty years of war, the Vietnamese are reconstructing their land and their lives. Photographed with a hand-held camera during ten days in September 1987, the program contains many spontaneous interviews with Vietnamese people about daily activities and about more sensitive social issues such as the treatment of Amerasian children, the progeny of American soldiers. Demonstrates the resiliency of the people through the voices of their poets.
