- This tract, purported by Johann Melchior Mundler to have been translated from an old Latin original, appeared in the appendix of Georg von Welling's Opus mago-cabbalisticum et theosophicum. It was later the subject of a detailed study of alchemy by Goethe. Contains three line drawings.

- Georg von Welling (1652-1727) was a Bavarian alchemical and theosophical writer, known for his 1719 work Opus mago-cabalisticum, published under the pseudonym Gregorius Anglus Sallwigt. By profession he worked in the mining industry, becoming Director in the Baden-Durlacher Office of Building and Mines.
