Summary
Depicts the life of a public accountant who struggles with money and the social upheavals of a changing society. He is burdened with the responsibility of supporting a mentally troubled mother, malnourished pregnant wife and a sister who is prostituting herself to American soldiers. Things are so bad that he cannot even afford to visit the dentist and find a cure for his constant toothache.
