Summary
The first edition of the Marrakech Biennale took place in 2005. This trilingual North African Biennial brings together a diverse program of contemporary art, literature, performance and film from both emerging and already established artists. The 5th edition of the Marrakech Biennale was titled Where Are We Now ?, and presents the work of around 90 international artists. More than 30 artists have new, site-specific work carried out on location. This publication documents the new and important contributions of the participating artists.
