The materials cover a wide range of environmental issues. Most of the correspondence is with W.W. Norton & Company, publisher of Environment and Man. Other correspondence is from individuals who commented on the book after its publication. Includes photographs used as illustrations in the book. Also, includes a survey questionnaire and replies sent out by W.W. Norton & Company to professors at universities across the country who were teaching environmental courses.
