- Summary
- Posits that Adolf Hitler's defeat in World War II was due less to Allied supremacy than to his own shortcomings as a military strategist. Reveals how the course of history might have been altered through changes in a few key decisions, among them Hitler's initial reluctuance to bomb England, his refusal to proceed with the building of the Messerschmidt 262, his harsh treatment of the Ukrainians who could have been allies, and his two-front campaign of attacking Russia while still engaged in a war in Western Europe. Also covers what little is known about Hitler's childhood and early adult years.
