- The collection contains two posters by the War Relief Committee: "As long as it takes CIO gives ... support your community war fund" (head shots of a soldier and a CIO worker face a relief map of Japan) drawn by B. Perlin; and "Support the Red Cross" (a CIO worker in a gray uniform and cap holds up a red cross sign behind an Army soldier crouched in battle fatigues, holding a rifle, both flanked by tanks) drawn by Whitman.
One poster is by the Community Services Committee, "CIO still serving, support the Red Cross" (a Red Cross nurse with a medical chart sits by the bedside of a soldier with his arm in a cast. A patient on crutches and three hospital beds are in the background) drawn by Keller. - Subject(s)
