Summary
The archeological excavations and documentation of late ancient, early Christian, and early Islamic monuments in the ruined city of Resafa-Sergiopolis has been a research focus for the German Archeological Institute in Syria since 1950. This volume presents two monuments: what is known as al-Mundhir's building (569-581 CE) with the surrounding north necropolis, and Basilica C., dating from the early 6th century CE.
