Provides overview of rationale for the Prompt Global Strike (PGS) mission, which would allow the U.S. to strike targets anywhere on earth with conventional weapons in as little as an hour. Examines possible deployment of conventional warheads on long-range ballistic missiles in support of PGS mission.
