Summary
Reviews FY2013-FY2015 funding for the community development block grant (CDBG) program, which provides grants to State and local governments for community development. Examines P.L. 113-2, a disaster supplemental appropriation that included $15.2 billion for CDBG disaster relief and recovery activities in response to Hurricane Sandy and other disasters. Considers sequestration impact on FY2013 appropriations, and addresses impact and implications of reduced funding.
