- Speaks to the rituals of the Russian Orthodox Church, a religion persecuted under communism but once again flourishing and exerting an impact on Russian life. A young Russian woman comments about how she weaves the religion into her daily life, and at an ornate cathedral in Moscow viewers see the devine Liturgy, or formal Russian service, and a baptism, during which the import of various symbols such as icons and iconostases are related.
