Annotation Proceedings of a July 2000 workshop on temporal representation and reasoning in artificial intelligence and on related areas such as temporal and spatio-temporal databases. Some subjects include temporal logics and ontologies, constraint reasoning, temporal languages and architectures, expressive power versus tractability, and belief and uncertainty in temporal knowledge. Other topics are temporal learning and discovery, reasoning about actions and events, time and nonmonotonism, and time in problem solving. Specific applications discussed include modeling temporal aspects of visual and textual objects in multimedia databases, extending topological nexttime logic, and estimating paths of moving objects.
