Summary

This volume contains the writings of a sensitive black male who is very much in love with a black girl, Jesurina. In a few essays and a letter the sensitive young man reveals that Jesurina marries a white man. Logically the young black male divulges the reason he hates the marriage and the white man whom Jesurina will marry. A variety of topics are covered in this book: love, hate, life, nature, and even death. A short story is included which is shocking, but which makes the volume complete.
