- Summary
- This disc contains the MARK3 mineral resource simulator program and its associated deposit model data. This program is a simulation program that uses Monte Carlo statistical process and mineral deposit models to estimate mineral resources. The program includes help files that describe the program algorithm as well as the subject of mineral deposit models. The MARK3 program allows the user to provide a probability distribution that describes the probable number of deposits at different confidence levels. This probability distribution together with a specified deposit model is used to calculate a distribution function that the user can interpret to estimate the probability of amounts of ore and minerals that might be found in the area of interest.
