This holographic Christmas keepsake book is inscribed, "a Merry Christmas to two women on Cracker Hill from the third" (bookplate of Susan G. Thomas). It is illustrated with Rose O'Neill's kewpie doll drawings pasted in and other line drawings cut from magazines. Three of the women are named Lois, Sue, and Liz; one unnamed woman left to get married. They possibly resided in Pennsylvania but one entry for Cracker Hill has 108 Hoffman Street, Trenton, N.J. The entries allude to each woman's idiosyncracies and pastimes: decoupaging and shellacing waste paper baskets, household chores, favorite songs, Christmas gifts, budgeting, and food.
