Summary: Description: Records kept by the renter wardens, elected annually to keep quarterage records [to 1884, when quarterage was abolished], maintain up-to-date lists of company members and addresses and keep accounts for fines and stamp duty payments. Volumes cover 1851-1853, 1863-1886, 1888-1890, 1920-1922, 1926-1928, 1934-1943 and 1954-1998. A contemporary index to the livery and widows is inserted in front endpapers.
