Summary
A feature on Fidel Castro's visit to Kiev during his tour of the Soviet Union in 1963. Includes footage of Castro being greeted by Ukraine officials and crowds of people, being gifted with the traditional bread and salt, laying a wreath at the grave of the Unknown Solider, and visiting a collective farm and chatting with farm workers. Also includes footage of Kiev, demonstrating its contemporary progress and beauty in comparison to the bomb damaged buildings during the Second World War.
