- Summary
- A film celebrating the centenary of the birth of Vladimir Lenin and the spread of Communism throughout the world. Filmed in 1970, the documentary captures the centenary year of the birth of Vladimir Lenin. The film starts off with a brief history of Leninism and the October Revolution of 1917. The film then moves across the globe, visiting countries where socialism is being put into practice. American and Israeli imperialism is discussed in reference to the Vietnam and Arab-Israeli Wars, respectively. A constant message through the film is that communism and socialism can liberate peoples from imperialism and colonialism. The massive celebration to mark the centenary of the birth of Lenin in Moscow is captured towards the end of the film.
