Description: Correspondence with Charles Elliot and Sir George Elliot, Naval Commander-in-chief, acting as Joint Plenipotentiaries, Sir James John Gordon Bremer, Naval Commander-in-chief before Admiral Elliot, General Sir Hugh Gough, Commander of the Land Forces, Sir Henry Pottinger, who superseded Captain Elliot as Plenipotentiary after the unsuccessful preliminary treaty in January 1841, Admiral Sir William Parker, who succeeded Admiral Elliot in November 1841. Volume III contains correspondence from 9 October 1841 - 24 February 1842.
