- Description: Amongst general remarks on the weather, daily routines, and social visits Brown records her comments on British church services, and time spent with "tommies" in Endell Street Military Hospital throughout these letters. Brown also records hearing bombs falling during the night, and the destruction caused to the Naval Place at Clapham during the air raid.
