Summary
Description: These letters primarily record Brown's daily life in London, noting work at Endell Street Military Hospital as an orderly, shopping, reading, and her remarks on the weather. Brown does write in details about the hospital library, comments made to her regarding her youthful appearance seeding doubt she could be a doctor, and a royal visit at Endell Street Military Hospital. The struggles of a Mrs Hodge, a barrister in London are also noted by Brown who comments of the injustice faced by Hodge: "Miss Hodge, a barrister, who is having rather an interesting struggle to be allowed to practice her profession because she is a member of the fairer sex".
