German trenches & names red. British front line pecked blue. Before German retirement to Hindenburg Line, but after the British Fourth Army had taken this area over from the French. In September/October 1915 British troops had temporarily taken over the French line south of the Somme as far as the Grand Bois du Lihons. The only British edition of this sheet.
