Summary:

Description: Photocopy of original diary. Brunskill puts into practice what he has learnt at bayonet training by leading a training course. The King and Queen visit for a military fête and Brunskill visits home in Ireland. The diary describes the appearance of a French child at camp who stowed away from Boulogne on a hospital ship and orders are at last received for service on the Western Front.
