Summary
African American boy, Jefferson Thomas, runs along a track in tracksuit. Shot of him in school uniform standing before school. Wide view of Little Rock High School. Footage of nine African American students admitted entrance to Little Rock Central High School under armed protection by US troops. Crowds being restrained by the forces, footage of white anger at desegregation. Little Rock nine are escorted in a car between two armoured vehicles. Troops surround them as they enter the college while their white classmates look on.
