- Summary
- Harry Stewart flew P51 Mustang fighters with the 302nd Fighter Squadron, 332nd Fighter Group. During his overseas combat tour he flew over 40 missions out of Ramitelli, Italy. Stewart was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC) for downing 3 enemy fighters during one action. He ended the war with the rank of captain and later retired from the US Air Force Reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel.
