Summary
Undoubtedly, the most fascinating development in the field of fatigue testing has been the recent growth of automation in this area. Fatigue tests by their very nature are very tedious to monitor continuously, and yet modern demands for complex signal simulation often do not permit one to use the elementary and easy-to-monitor signals so widely used in the past.
