Summary:
Analysis of the Vacuum, Rotarex and Reflux Extraction procedures show the superiority of the Vacuum method over the other two. The advantages are: improved accuracy, reduced testing time and lower cost. The Vacuum Extractor is especially useful in bituminous paving construction control.
