Did not receive any mail from him again; hopes all the mail she has been sending him gets delivered; she and Aunt Mamie both sent him a package with a birthday cake in it; in her package she also included candles and party supplies; bets he is in Belgium; wishes they had made a code before he left so she could know where he is; asks if he sees Eddie Johnson anymore; Johnson's mother has not heard from him recently; must end the letter because Uncle Morris is visiting; Virginia Rende is helping Uncle Morris at the Coast Guard. Letter was returned to sender.
