Description: Letter from Jack Klann, U.S.S. Vulcan, to Mr. and Mrs. Klann, Detroit, Michigan. Jack was swimming during mail call. Happy to come back to letters and a package from home. Some guys are getting a 30 day rehabilitation leave; not sure if he'll get it. They were supposed to have a division dance that evening but it was cancelled. Disappointed that the peanuts they sent didn't ship well.
