White & Co., 1889., A novella., and Rare Books copy: in publisher's original wrappers; former owner's dated gift inscription on title-page in pencil: "With Love from Your wife -- [signed] Inez, Feb. 2- '98" (makes this cataloger wonder if "Inez" might just have been trying to tell her husband something by giving him this book!)
