Summary
Growing up in the farthest reaches of Tyrol, Franz helps out in his father's "wedding factory" business by photographing. One day, one of the brides dies during photographing, and Franz, overwrought, flees to the US. Does it matter that he shared one kiss with someone else a week earlier? Years later, a friend dies, and the memories become clearer.
