- Summary
- A manuscript records book showing Bradshaw's record of her literary work for 1888 through 1905. It contains lists of manuscripts accepted with amount paid, manuscripts sent out, and a section giving a history of each manuscript, listed by title and showing dates sent, returned, and sent again, etc. At the back of the book are lists of books she bought and addresses of publishers. Inside the front and back covers are pasted clippings related to writing, authors and events, including "Selling manuscript" by Bradshaw, reprinted from The writer. Some of the clippings have separated from the book and are loose. The book is quarto size with original 1/2 calf, marbled boards. Pages are numbered, 1-128, and ruled, many unwritten on. The first and last pages are unnumbered and unruled.
