Mitchell & Kenyon. 694, Funeral procession in Edinburgh (1901) / [filmed by James Kenyon and Sagar Mitchell].
- Language Note:
- This edition silent.
- We don't know whose passing this sombre funeral procession was marking, and the poor light makes it difficult to distinguish much about the mourners, either. But the naval uniforms suggest a military connection. The ominous-looking 'lightning bolts' throughout the film are the result of static created in the camera during filming - rather than a sign of divine disapproval.
