- A recounting of the history of The Fantasticks which ran off-Broadway for nearly 42 years. The show played eight times a week for a total of 17,162 performances. Interviews with stars who got their start in the show, which opened May 3, 1960 and closed on Jan. 13, 2002. Also includes interviews with the composer, Harvey Schmidt, the lyricist, Tom Jones, the original producer, Lore Noto, and members of the cast from the final performance. Includes excerpts from the final performance.
