An almanack of coelestial motions and aspects for the year of the Christian aera 1711 [microform] : ... Calculated for the meridian of Boston in N.E. lat. 42 gr. 25 m. n. / By Daniel Travis
At head of title: MDCCXI. Bookseller's advertisements, p. [16] and 4 p. at end. Evans gives the printer as William Bradford of New York. The cut of the Anatomy (Reilly 1784), however, is not that used in the almanacs issued by Bradford, but is identical with that found in the almanacs printed by Bartholomew Green at Boston through 1723. No cut appears in the almanac published by Bradford for 1711, that of Daniel Leeds; but see his issues of Leeds' American almanack for other years during this period. Travis' almanacs from 1716 on have Green's imprint, as does that for 1707. The Anatomy is the only illustration. ONLINE VERSION AVAILABLE TO AUTHORIZED PSU USERS.
