Stanley Waterloo was an American journalist and author, perhaps best remembered for his contributions to early science fiction. Born in Michigan and educated at the University of Michigan, he worked as a journalist, holding positions as reporter and editor in the midwest and later in Washington, D.C. He also published novels, several with science fiction themes, most notably The Story of Ab, a pioneering work of anthropological imagination.
