Mr. and Mrs. Crow and family."--McLoughlin Brothers' catalogue of toy books (New York, [1879]). Issue in hand matches this description. Variant issues; title-page illustration has Mrs. Crow on the left side and Mr. Crow on the right side. The firm name appears as "McLoughlin Bro's" in imprint statement. In another issue, title-page illustration shows Mrs. Crow on the right side and Mr. Crow on the left side. The firm name appears as "McLoughlin Brothers" in imprint statement. Title page printed in red, green, and black ink to resemble a wrapper. Illustrations produced by a relief process (zinc etching?)."
